Our client:
An early stage biotech company in Belgium.
The challenge:
The client was seeking an interim CEO who was prepared to take on a permanent position in about a year if product development had advanced as planned.
How our approach made a difference:
We were able to provide several candidates, including a commercially focused Ph.D. scientist who had a strong track record working with start-ups. The candidate was selected, and a part time contract was agreed, initially half a day a week increasing to two days after four months. The interim has since been offered the CEO role on a permanent basis and has accepted.
